D3 UNIT

The thoroughbred range of DC operators offer swift and reliable sliding gate control. The D3 unit is powered by a high torque DC motor coupled to a custom built gearbox.

The system uses a 12V maintenance free battery as the primary power source. The battery is charged via a mains supply or solar panel.
The principle features of the system are:

• CUSTOM BUILT GEARBOX – made from advanced engineering materials for corrosion-free strength and durability.
• REVOLUTIONARY INTERNAL LIMIT SWITCH (DOSS) – for pin point stopping and easy installation. Novel gate referenced origin ensures that the end limit positions are never lost even if the gate is accidentally knocked off its rail and repositioned differently.
• SENSITIVE ANTI CRUSHING CONTROL – for greater safety.
• PROVEN SURGE AND LIGHTNING PROTECTION – for added reliability.
• INTERNAL MANUAL RELEASE – with lockable access door for greater security.
• UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION – using safe low voltage battery driven DC motor.
• FAST OPERATING SPEED – offers greater security and convenience with smooth acceleration and deceleration.
• MULTIPLE FEATURES – to suit a wide variety of applications.

D5 UNIT

The thoroughbred range of DC operators offer swift and reliable sliding gate control. The D5 unit is powered by a high torque DC motor coupled to a custom built gearbox.

The system uses a 12V maintenance free battery as the primary power source. The battery is charged via a mains supply or solar panel. For light industrial applications the D5 is available with a power pack which delivers the full current requirement of the motor.

Smooth acceleration and deceleration
The inverter / 3- phase motor combination provides silky-smooth ramp up to full speed and slow down to a fully controlled stop.

Rapid operation with intelligent speed control
For the ultimate combination of security and safety, the controller can be programmed to open suitable gates at up to 30 metres per minute but close at a slower and safer speed of 16 metres per minute.

Very high starting and running thrust
The three-phase motor combined with inverter control provides radically improved starting and running torques compared to the single-phase capacitor start motors typically used in most gate motor applications.

High gate mass capacity
The rugged diecast aluminium gearbox is designed to handle heavy industrial gates with high inertial loads.

Fan cooled unit for very high duty cycle capability
Duty cycles of up to 100% are possible with a unit fitted with optional cooling fan. 

Battery back-up capability using innovative DC converter
In applications which require power failure protection, a DC-to-DC converter with standby battery can be readily added.

Internal limit switch system ensures pin-point stopping
There are no external limit switches to fit or adjust. The well-known DOSS system (Digital origin seeking system) keeps track of the gate position at all times.

Sensitive anti-crushing control
Although the inverter controlled 3 phase motor is capable of delivering a large driving force, the control electronics accurately monitors the applied load to provide sensitive anti-crushing protection. 

Reliable 3 phase induction motor runs on single phase power 
The unit uses a 3-phase motor for optimum simplicity, reliability and operating performance. Combined with the frequency inverter the unit can be conveniently connected to a standard single-phase 220V supply.

GEMINI AC Slider

The GEMINI 220 V sliding gate system is a self contained unit which comprise of a single 220 Volt AC electrical motor that drives the rack pinion via a gearbox. The gearbox, electrical motor and associated components are mounted in a rust treated base box. The base box is secured to the base plate, which in turn is cemented or bolted to a concrete base. The complete unit is enclosed with a weather resistant lid. The AC Slider is available in two models.

The electrical motor, carrier bearing and associated components are mounted in a rust treated base box. The base box is secured to the base plate, which in turn is cemented or bolted to a concrete base. The complete unit is enclosed with a weather resistant lid. This motor is available in three models.

The AC Swing gate system is a self contained unit, which comprise of a 220 Volt AC electrical motor that drives the gearbox. The electrical motor, carrier bearing and associated components are mounted in a rust treated base box. The complete unit is enclosed with a weather resistant lid. This motor is available in one model.
